This project was challenged, it locate in Chiang Mai, with top tourist destination. What can be different in doing a hotel in north of Thailand? The inspiration of the design came from the history during the arrival of Westerner in northern of Thailand in together with the Royal Lanna lifestyle that still laid-on northern Thai’s in every details. Food, dialogue, clothes, I mean everything. What I want to bringing in was the glamour of Lanna especially in era of High Royal into the space, with a respect toward the glory of Lanna’s period in northern Thai. All the detailing of wall paneling, crown molding, ceiling, door, bed, lounge chairs, even area rugs were carefully designed & selected to fulfill the era of glory & glamour. It is also important that guest should get a glimpse of our pride history.
